How this lookup works
Through September 28, 2026 the history comes from the LBMA benchmark prices (the PM price for gold, platinum and palladium; the daily price for silver). Daily benchmark values are licensed by LBMA, so for those dates we publish the month's average, lowest and highest fixing rather than the day's figure.
From the next trading day on, each weekday has a Bullion Trading LLC spot close: the last Swissquote mid-price before the 5 pm New York rollover, saved in our own price archive. GBP and EUR are converted with that day's exchange rate. Weekends and holidays show the previous close.
